   Aren’t you tired of me whining about this stuff being made in China? Yeah? You could shut me up if you moved operations back to New York. The item works fine. I would enjoy it more if it were made by my brother Americans.

   These are nice big casseroles. Yes, they’re a little heavy, but not as heavy as a turkey roaster with a big Thanksgiving turkey in it. I’m sure they will keep things warm longer because of it being stoneware. I can’t wait for an excuse to use them which will probably be tomorrow for tuna casserole. I’ve just been building up the Callaway Ivy pattern of dishes at this point.

   Also, this seller was very, very good about following up with damaged shipments.

   I ordered two sets of this. When they were arrived, the lids of one set were broken. I sent the broken set back and about 1 month to now I have not received the replaced set back. They are good product, but please treat them well when packing. The lids should be fixed on the cardboard more securely, please use tape or some glue if they are needed.

   Update: Finally received my replacement set after about 5 months. This time Amazon wrapped it carefully, no damage at all. Thanks Amazon.

   I use these for cooking almost everything. Especially good for veggies in the microwave.

   For years and years, we used a set of Corelle that had been handed down to us by a sister. We finally disposed of it when the edges of our set began to turn brown; and we bought a lovely set of stoneware. What a disappointment! It chipped, cracked and broke; and now we don’t have enough of it left to set a nice table. So, having had a good experience with Corelle before, we decided to try it again. We like the pure white of the Livingware and know that it will serve us well for many years to come.

   I have already told several people, the dishes arrived with a box of broken shards………….The price was refunded and I was satisfied. It really needs to be packed more securely…

   Beautiful set of dishes. I bought them for my daughter for Christmas and she loves them. I think they could have been a little bit larger, because the plates seem a bit small for dinner plates, but they are thin and nice to store, so she really likes having them. Very durable and easy to keep clean.

   I really do love these dishes. I bought two sets a couple months ago and they have been working out great. I replaced my old Corelle set that we inherited from another family member when we got married 18 yrs ago. This new set is of even better quality than my old set. I read the other reviews before purchasing these and noted they talk about the mugs being a different color. I do think Corelle must have fixed this problem, because my cups match perfectly. I highly recommend this Dinnerware set. They are neutral and go with any decor. Love these dishes!

   I can’t say enough about how great this dinnerware set truly is! I bought two of these for a total set of 8 and it’s exactly what I had hoped for.

   Our old set was made out of heavy stoneware that was constantly getting chipped and scratched, took up too much space in the cupboards and were a pain to load in the dishwasher. Corelle has been such a refreshing change of pace! These dishes look just as good as the day I got ‘em, they load up perfectly in the dishwasher, sparkle like new after each and every wash AND they hardly take up any space in the cupboards. I appreciate their lightweight design and the decorative edging around the rim make this plain white set, simple and elegant.

   It would be nice if the mugs were Corelle as well but this wasn’t a deal breaker for me since ‘IMO’ the mugs and accompanying plates were just frosting on the cake (when considering the total value of the set). I knew in advance that the cups were stoneware but was pleasantly surprised to find that my set did match the tone and color of my plates perfectly.

   I would highly recommend this set to friends and family and would definitely purchase this set for myself again!

    I bought this for my wife and she loves it! All items have been durable and very useful.

    There are very few accessories for this product. This is a nice set.
    Wish they would come out with more pieces.

    My partner and I ordered this casserole set because of how VERY happy we are with our Simple Lines Corelle Square Dinnerware. We had searched for any ‘completer’ items and were pleased to find what we ‘thought’ were going to be the first of several items we would be adding in the Simple Lines Corelle Square pattern. However, although we realized all pieces could/would not be made from the same ‘glass-like’ material as the dinnerware, we at least expected them to be ‘pyro-ceram’ like other Corningware items (many of which have had designs on them).

    We were totally displeased to find the casseroles to be made of what amounts to ‘pottery’ and even have UNFINISHED bottoms. Perhaps had the entire pieces have been glazed we ‘might’ have considered keeping them, but the raw undersides were unattractive, unserviceable, and a complete turnoff. My only words to Corning and the Corelle Division are “WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?”

    As a result, planned purchases of the Canister Set and other items that are made similarly from what they are CALLING ‘ceramic,’ will now never happen. Any potential future purchases will occur only if Corning gets its act together and reissues Completer Pieces in pyro-ceram or other appropriate material.

    We love our Corelle Square dinnerware and would recommend that to anyone. Beyond that — forget it…for now.

    When my order finally arrived it was like it was packed for serious abuse, box inside a box. When I took the bowls out, they were much heavier than I thought they would be, this is good. I really believe that this was money well spent.

    Looks great…too heavy..i wish it was little lighter…thats all..every time i hold it i am afraid if i drop it and break it…looks excellent..get many compliments…until ofcourse one of the guest help clean up..they r like “damn this is heavy”

    I bought these for my toddler since I wanted to get away from melamine. With the melamine plates, if I wanted to warm her food in the microwave I would have to first dish the food onto a regular plate, then put it on her melamine plate, thus dirtying up two plates for one person. Not very efficient. So I made the plunge to corelle dishware, and the Hot Dot pattern was the most appealing to kids in my opinion. The pattern is definitely fun, and while it’s not as eye-popping as melamine would be, I do think that the dishes look just like the photos. I only wish that corelle would come out with more patterns appealing to kids. The packaging left something to be desired, and I can see how dishes can be damaged in shipping. But fortunately my dishes arrived unscathed. So overall the dishes are exactly what I would expect, especially at the good price I got here on Amazon.

    I love my new plates. The dots are awesome. The plates are very strong. Even though 1 plate was broken during shipping. I still kept them because I like them and it was going to take too long to replace it. They are hard to come by, but I still want another set. Amazon’s price was great.

    Vibrant colors that capture eyes immediately when you put it out for guests to use. Likes it very much. My husband likes it too because it is too light and said he can handle the dishes if plates are just this light

    These arrived in great shape and quicker than my order indicated. Love the pattern - very fun and very bright. They would have recieved a full five stars except a few of the dots have obvious flaws. I may have to find a couple of replacement plates - not happy about that.
