Corelle Simple Lines Free Important Information
The dish is basically as advertised. As mentioned by others, this is not the typical Corelle material; but if you know in advance that this is basically a matching ‘plastic’ plate, you won’t be disappointed. It matches perfectly and makes a nice accessory.

This tray is a bit small, but there is now a larger tray in this pattern and I plan to get one to use with this. It’s a great value, looks great with other pieces in this pattern. Survives top rack dishwasher clean up. For informal entertaining it’s hard to do better.
I bought this because it was “Corelle” and goes with my dishes. It says it is melamine, however I didn’t know what that was. It’s cheap plastic and nothing like my Corelle dishes…
This was ordered for my daughter. She loves them they go perfectly in her kitchen.
These bowls are nice and match my sketch and simple lines plates. I bought them to put out the food for BBQ outside so ppl could serve themselves and them close the bowl but it didn’t really worked how I thought. They’re much smaller than I’ve imagined. But stil they are classy, look resistant and it doesn’t look to me that they’ll chip or anything.
It’s a cool bowl to after serving on the table to go directly to the fridge. The ony bad party is that you can’t microwave, but then it’s always better to take out only the amount you’re gonna eat.
This item was purchased as a gift for my daughter. She was very impressed with the style and loved that they nest inside each other. Attractive on the table, easy clean, great storage. Irene
Warning: these bowls can’t be put in the microwave and they can’t be put in the dishwasher. The description does not mention this “minor” detail, but a small insert inside the box does. Who wants to hand-wash a mixing bowl? And who wants to move leftovers out of the storage container into something else in order to microwave it?
Maybe I should have assumed all of this because the bowls are partly made of steel, but so many items these days are microwave-safe even though they have metal in them. It never occurred to me that something made by Corelle could make my kitchen work MORE complicated.
Beyond that - the bowls look fine, and they are supposedly scratch resistant, but they just “feel” like the color will start chipping off soon. And the lids aren’t as tight as you might expect. They do fit, but I wouldn’t want to tip one upside down.
I bought this for my wife and she loves it! All items have been durable and very useful.
There are very few accessories for this product. This is a nice set.
Wish they would come out with more pieces.
My partner and I ordered this casserole set because of how VERY happy we are with our Simple Lines Corelle Square Dinnerware. We had searched for any ‘completer’ items and were pleased to find what we ‘thought’ were going to be the first of several items we would be adding in the Simple Lines Corelle Square pattern. However, although we realized all pieces could/would not be made from the same ‘glass-like’ material as the dinnerware, we at least expected them to be ‘pyro-ceram’ like other Corningware items (many of which have had designs on them).
We were totally displeased to find the casseroles to be made of what amounts to ‘pottery’ and even have UNFINISHED bottoms. Perhaps had the entire pieces have been glazed we ‘might’ have considered keeping them, but the raw undersides were unattractive, unserviceable, and a complete turnoff. My only words to Corning and the Corelle Division are “WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?”
As a result, planned purchases of the Canister Set and other items that are made similarly from what they are CALLING ‘ceramic,’ will now never happen. Any potential future purchases will occur only if Corning gets its act together and reissues Completer Pieces in pyro-ceram or other appropriate material.
We love our Corelle Square dinnerware and would recommend that to anyone. Beyond that — forget it…for now.
When my order finally arrived it was like it was packed for serious abuse, box inside a box. When I took the bowls out, they were much heavier than I thought they would be, this is good. I really believe that this was money well spent.
Looks great…too heavy..i wish it was little lighter…thats all..every time i hold it i am afraid if i drop it and break it…looks excellent..get many compliments…until ofcourse one of the guest help clean up..they r like “damn this is heavy”
WHEN IT SAID MATS I WAS THINKING VINYL. BUT THESE ARE METAL. THEY LOOK GREAT ON MY COUNTER TOPS, AND WORK GREAT TO KEEP HEAT OFF. QUICK SHIPPING.
An inexpensive addition to the Corelle Simple Lines collection. We threw out our other counter mats.
These mats look great on my table and are perfect with the matching plates. I also have plain black plates and bowls that look really nice on the mats. Worth every penny!
I purchased these as a gift for a dear friend. She had just purchased her first home and these match her Simple Lines Square dishes by Corelle. She has used them as hot plates (trivets) as well as hung them on her kitchen wall.
These protect your counters while adding a bit of style. They withstand pots & pans taken directly off the stove or out of the oven. **Not dishwasher safe.**
I have the plain white square dishes by Corelle and am purchasing these to mix in and liven my space up a bit.
These are made of tin. The first one is 10 inches long by 8 inches wide. The second is 7 1/2 inches long by 6 inches wide!
These are a great size and shape and fit in my cabinet without any trouble. I’m able to carry a stack of more than 3 plates without any problem.
Ordered these very hard to find ramekins. They arrived very well packed and in good condition. The shipping was quick considering how hard it is to find any items with the simple lines pattern.
Design is beautiful, and ceramic is sturdy and would hold up well to some wear and tear. Only issue I have with it is that the design itself is obviously digitized…there is some pixelation along the edges which in my view detracts from the quality.
