   Great gift for my Mother-in-law in Michocan,Mexico. We have used these dishes for years, they look great, and have proven to be very durable. Note: dishes are break resistant, if dropped on tile or concrete they will shatter into very small pieces.

   I ordered these dishes because I wanted something simple, nice, and white - they fit the bill with a bonus that they are chip resistant. I ended up returning them, however, because they are incredibly thin and light. This isn’t mentioned in the product info online - but on the box it says “now 40% lighter” (or something like that). I wish I had known this …they were so thin they felt cheap to me. I guess I like my dishes to be hefty…

   I bought 4 sets of Corelle Livingware Corelle Fun Packs, Winter Frost White on December 18, 2008. Amazon delivered it on the 24th and I was so thrilled. The sets are so beautiful. I love the 2-quart bowls and the 28 oz bowls are perfect for noodle soup. And plus Amazon delivered it on the 24th and I got to use them for my Christmas party. Thanks Amazon.

   Oh, I ordered 4 more sets. The price is $18.76 each and 4 for the price of 3 promotion. A dollar more for each set but so what, I love them so much and I can’t wait.

   I have two sets and love these bowls. Very clean looking and I never worry about breaking them. I love how deep the bowls are. I have the Corelle Square dishes and they go very well with these bowls (and the serving platter).

   Corelle plates and bowls have been with our household ever since I remember.
   We used to have (we still have them but they are on the shelves) Corelles with color designs but we decided to stick with simple plain ones which is easier to match.

   Pros:
   -Durable. Me and my wife have dropped them many times; and they don’t break easily.
   -Scratch & knife resistant.
   -Light. Less stress for our kitchen shelves.
   -Microwave safe
   -Easy to clean
   -Dishwasher safe

   Perfect size for my family for ice cream–holds two or three (smallish) scoops (Oxo grip) just fine. The slight lip prevents dribbles. They stack well.

   These little bowls are perfect to feed my infant small amounts of food, however, they are wayyyyyy too small for any adult use.

   Everything about the purchase went perfectly.

   The bowls are too small! (My fault)

    We love Corelle, and are gradually building a set. This supplier helps by providing good prices and delivery. Very satisfied.

    Corelle has been around for ages and can last the ages. I have heard stories lasting 30 years. It is not break proof. But break resistant beats stoneware anyday. A great product should not suffer in ratings because the retailer has made an error on the 6 3/4″ inch bowl. Rate the product, not the seller.

    I too ordered this product expecting a set of bowls and received 1 bowl! Amazon replied by telling me to “make sure and read the details carefully when placing an order.” I pointed out that the details stated a set of 6 bowls but they did not send me the additional items. This also happened for the set of plates I expected to receive, but only received 1 plate. I see now that Amazon has revised the product details. A bit too late for some of us…

    I ordered this after reading that it “includes 6 18 ounce bowls”. This is bad advertising. I ordered 2 sets and only received 2 bowls. After I wrote to customer service and asked for the additional 10 bowls per the offer. Amazon refused to send them and thanked me for “pointing out an error”. In 2 days Amazon has not even corrected the ad. Beware of this product and offer and know that Amazon has not made good on its offer. I have ordered many products from this site, but will be more skeptical in the future, and will only order an item if it is an individual item with a name brand that I can track.

    I am very pleased with this bowl and the other matching bowls I purchased! The 1 quart bowl is light in weight, stacks in the cabinet easily plus it is easy to clean! Large size is good for serving more than one person if those eating do not have large appetites… here it is enough for one person who is hungry and fills it up twice… the main reason for the purchase!

    This Corelle (Sandstone pattern) 1-quart serving bowl is perfect for serving a salad or family style side dish. Lightweight and easy to handle. Has the Corelle durability, too.

    This was misleading….seeing that it was Corelle I didn’t read the description any further, assuming it would be that glass-type product. Lo and behold these metal enameled bowls appear. A)they;re heavy B) they can’t be used in the microwave C) there’s nothing on the packaging that says they can used in the oven D)if that’s “pink” then I’m a supermodel.

    The photo does not show that all 3 bowls (yes, 3, not 6. When they said 6-piece set, they counted the lids one piece each.) have a metal rim on top. There’s no comment saying these bowls are NOT microwaveable. Yes, they are “pretty”, but now I have to rethink what I can use them for.

    These bowls are very versatile. They are lightweight and safe for oven and dishwasher and are resistant to breaking and chipping. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.
